The development of this new dock, located
in Gam Chun Dong, is the latest effort by the city of
Busan to help facilitate and meet the needs of the thriving
seafood industry here. It is the ideal place for international
seafood trade and brokering. The main target of this
Project is to increase Korea's competitiveness in the
international seafood industry. The city of Busan will
establish complex which will include reprocessors, a
wholesale market, an international seafood exchange,
etc. Tax breaks and special incentives will be given
to procure foreign direct
investments and to increase the
volume of product that comes into this designated area.
This area will be operated as a completely bonded zone.
Busan
is centrally located between Russia, the US, Japan,
and China.
